Permission Note - Try-A-Skill
Your child has been invited to an outstanding, hands-on, learning event called Try a Skill. Students will experience different vocations and trades to assist them to make career choices. During the event students rotate through a range of trade experiences where they can interact and try a range of skills lead by industry professionals.
The program has been established to:
* Motivate students through a hands-on experience
* Share information about career choices
* Encourage participants to appreciate that skill education and training offer more choices for the future
The 2019 Try a Skill is sponsored by Hunter TAFE, Australian Business Apprenticeship Centre, Regional Development Australia Central Coast, Novaskill, Master Builders Association, and The ORS Group.
Try a Skill Ourimbah, in the Carpentry Barn on Wednesday 3rd July, from 12:00pm – 2:30pm. Students will travel by bus from school to Ourimbah.
A sausage sizzle and drink will also be provided. All costs will be covered by the school.
